เคยนำเสนอข่าวที่ว่า เดวิด ฟินเชอร์ อาจจะได้กำกับ “ใต้ทะเล 20,000 โยชน์” และต้องการ แบรด พิตต์ มารับบทนำ ไปเมื่อหลายเดือนก่อนซึ่ง โดยในข่าวนั้นรายงานไปว่าดิสนี่ย์ขอเวลาสามเดือนในการอนุมัติและยังมีข่าวอีกว่า เดวิด ฟินเชอร์ต้องการ แบรด พิตต์ ให้มารับ เน็ด แลนด์ ตัวละครนำของเรื่องอีกด้วย, นับจากวันนั้นจนวันนี้ก็เลยสามเดือนของดิสนี่ย์เรียบร้อยแล้ว ซึ่งตอนนี้สถานะของ 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ฉบับรีเม็คยังเป็น

The film directed by Andrew Niccol stars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel, Diane Kruger, William Hurt and Frances Fisher.
The Host hits theaters on March 29 and tells the story of what if everything you love was taken from you in the blink of an eye? When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie Stryder (Ronan) will risk everything to protect the people she cares most about– Jared (Irons), Ian (Abel), her brother Jamie (Canterbury) and her Uncle Jed (Hurt) proving that love can conquer all in a dangerous new world.
Jennifer Lawrence will reteam back again Bradley Cooper for Oscar winning Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier’s upcoming film titled Serena.
According to Deadline, Lawrence has been cast to reunite with Cooper and David O.Russell in the Untitled Abscam Drama formerly called “American Bullsh*t”, which stars Christian Bale. The film was written by Russell with Eric Singer, and it takes a look inside at the FBI’s Abscam sting that took place back in 1970s to take down a number of United States congressman.
Lawrence will play Bale’s wife in the film.
Russell’s film is being produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle and financed by Megan Ellison for release by Sony Pictures. Also costarring is Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
