The film also stars Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Nat Wolff and Liana Liberato.
Writers follows a successful novelist (Kinnear) whose obsession with his ex-wife (Connelly) has sent his fractured family into a destructive emotional tailspin.
Collins plays daughter Samantha, who is pursued by a fellow writing student (Lerman). Nat Wolff, stars as Collins brother, who is experiencing first love with Kate (Liberato).
The film premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will hit seletected theaters in April.
Nicholas Hoult poses on the press room at the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, Februayr 10 at The Royal Opera House in London, England.
Hoult presented the award to Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman for Best Animated Film for their work in Brave.
Hoult is wearing a Tom Ford suit.
Meanwhile, Renner, will be making a special appearance at the Oscars along with his Avengers cast mates Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson and Mark Ruffalo on February 24th.
